Practice Management



Jane Nakie Quaye has 20 years’ working experience as an administrator with SEY & CO Legal Practitioners. During her stay at SEY & CO., she carried out job analysis and recruitment and employee orientation to foster a positive attitude towards organizational objectives. She also served as a link between management and employees by handling all employee relations and wellbeing matters, contract management and billing of clients.

Her background and practice management experience aids in providing day to day guidance to support the firm’s staff relating to their duties and responsibilities as well as being the general administrator of the firm’s business.

She holds a BSc. Admin. in Human Resource Management and an MBA also in Human Resource Management, both from the Central University College. She is also a student member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (Ghana).





Patrick has experience and interest in Legal and academic research in all areas of law. He has worked with the Elite Kingdom Investment & Consultancy, a real estate company as a marketing and sales person. Patrick has also interned with Opoku Agyei & Co. a law firm and the West Africa Media Foundation (MFWA), a civil society organization both in Accra. He was once a data analyst for the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), the local chapter of Transparency International.

Patrick has a background in law, media and communication studies. He studied for his first degree in Political Science with Information Studies at the University of Ghana, Legon and received his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the same university. 

Patrick has a Masters of Communication Studies degree also from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has a passion for teaching, having taught in a number of senior high schools on a part-time and voluntary basis.

Patrick recently completed the Barristers of Law (BL) programme at the Ghana School of Law and waiting to be called to the Ghana Bar.








Kwabena obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons) in History from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons) from Wisconsin International University College. Kwabena recently completed the Barristers of Law (BL) programme at the Ghana School of Law and is waiting to be called to the Ghana Bar.

Kwabena is a fellow of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Program. Kwabena is very good in legal research, drafting, and advocacy.











Emefa obtained a high honors Criminal Justice degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey where she was also a recipient of the prestigious James Dickson Carr Scholarship for talented students. She also holds an LLB (Hons) from Wisconsin International University College.

Emefa has over 15 years’ working experience in the legal, debt recovery and mortgage banking fields. She worked at Bevacqua & Tyler, a law firm in South Orange, New Jersey overseeing compliance and management of criminal and civil cases. She later joined Freeman & Gertner another law firm in South Orange, New Jersey overseeing debt recovery. Before relocating to Ghana in 2012, Emefa was an advisor, in the foreclosure division of Zucker, Goldberg & Ackerman, Mountainside, New Jersey. She was one of the leads in charge of training and debt recovery for JP Morgan Chase Bank, Bank of America, Citi Bank & Wells Fargo. She was responsible for advising the Banks on best mortgage lending strategies and debt recovery in accordance with the State of New Jersey regulations. Emefa was also part of the training Board where she put in place several procedure manuals and provided training and guidance to debt recovery specialist responsible for foreclosure matters.

Having a passion to nurture young people, Emefa has been engaged in many efforts to help young people struggling with varied addicts, abuse, delinquency, and poverty. Her youth advocacy efforts in North America lead to the establishment of over 10 youth outreach centers, training of over 50 volunteers and the revamping of already established centers across North America.






Jean Bernard Simeu is a young dynamic Cameroonian who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Law, ranking 3rd best in his graduating class. He also obtained a Master’s degree in International Law, both from the University of Douala in Cameroon.

Jean Bernard’s Master’s degree research project was on: l’analogiearchitecturale entre l’UE, l’UAet la CEMAC, which means, structural similarities between European Union, African Union, Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC). His exceptional research earned him an honorable mention from the adjudging panel of experts who reviewed his research.

For 5 years, Jean Bernard worked as a Consultant in charge of sub-regional and international matters for the Law Firm of Cabinet Leonard Noumbissi & partnersin Douala-Cameroon. Working in the capacity as consultant, he gained valuable experience in aspects of Cameroonian domestic Law.

From his education and work experience, he is well vested in International Law, French Civil Law, Environmental Law, Administrative Law, Investment Law, EU Directives and Rules, Organization for the Harmonization of Business Laws in Africa (OHADA) and CEMAC Rules.
